French Art Nouveau tortoiseshell purses, This fine 19th century French tortoiseshell box or change purse was handmade like a piece of estate jewelry with inlaid silver in a design that depicts birds in a marsh. Excellent quality silver inlay.C1870 to 1880. This rare coin purse measures 2 inches by 2 and one half inches by five eighths of an inch thick. Blue water silk lining. This would make the prefect gift.

"Curly maple desk" Antique American curly maple. Period American curly or tiger maple lift top travel desk c1800. This desk has what we call a wicked curl, which is one that is very pronounced all over. This curly lap top desks has two drawers that lock on the underneath. Each drawer has wonderful hand cut dove tails.This writing desk also retains its original brasses.It is a beautiful piece of period American accessory furniture, Measures 22inches long by 7" high by 9" deep.

Antique English teabox or tea caddy. This is a Late 18th century made from beautiful matched mahogany. This tea caddy has a period blown glass mixing bowl that also dates from c1790. This English Tea Chest measures 14 inches wide,6 and three quarters inches deep and 7 inches high.The key escutcheon is original inset ivory. The tea chest retains its original lock and brass handle. The blown glass insert is of the period but most probably replaced.
