Antique Wooden Painted Document Box,This antique wooden document box has its original green paint and measures 23 and three quarters inches long by 11 inches high and is 12 and one half inches deep. Early boxes with their original paint are impossible to find they were almost all refinished. This American country piece retains its original hardware as well. The only thing missing is the key flap. Dates from the eighteenth to very early 19th century.

Antique Chinese silver and soap stone box, this antique Chinese box is marked silver on its base and has a lovely hand carved soap stone top and an etched design depicting birds,vines leaves and flowers all around its sides. This box measures 6 inches wide by 4 inches high. This Chinese silver box was purchased in the late 19th century.

Antique English boxes,Period English oak wood Cash box c1750. This "antique English box" is quite early dating from 1750. It is in mint condition. The hinges are all hand cut with hand made screws that have never been removed. The rich patina on this Antique English box is as good as it gets. We have only had a few cash boxes in this original a condition in our 29 years of selling fine antiques,even the hook is original. It also has large well done hand made dovetails. This box measures 8 and one half inches wide by 6 inches deep by 4 and one half inches high.This cash box would make the perfect gift for anyone that likes fine all original country antiques
