Antique English Trinity House cash box. This period antique English box has a wonderful inlaid design depicting a nautical scene of a steamboat, sail boat and a fully rigged frigate. It also depicts a light house in the distance on each scene. This antique maritime Trinity box measures 7 inches by 4 and one half inches high and 4 and 5/8 inches deep. This piece just came in from a wonderful maritime collection.

"Antique tea caddy",period antique Scottish tea caddy or tea box. This tea box is rare because of its size. The tea caddy measures 4 and one half inches high by 4 and one half inches wide and 3 5/8 inches deep. This tea box is made from the most beautiful satinwood with an ivory diamond escutcheon.The design is the Scottish thistle. This period antique tea caddy is in perfect condition with all its original inlay intact along with its lock and hinges.

Antique boxes,"document boxes" This period American mahogany document box is in pristine original as found condition. This early box measures 12 inches wide by 8 and and one half inches deep by 6 inches high. The top handle and the two front draw pulls are both hand made brass and original to the box. A couple of the interior wood partitions have been replaced. The sides of this early American box were put together with the most finely done dovetails that run from top to bottom. Dates from 1760 to 1780.

Antique English toilet box,this antique"toilet box" is made from rosewood and the containers are cut glass with sterling tops.Antique English toilet box travel sets are hard to come by. This set dates from the early to mid 19th century. The hallmarks are from different years. This English rosewood toilet box measures 12 and and one quarter inches wide,9 and and one half inches deep and 3 and and three quarters inches high.Condition. One of the hand cut faceted sterling covered cologne bottles has had a brake and repair to its threads where the sterling cover screws down on it. The stopper works fine in both bottles. This set is almost complete. Some of the accessories tools in the base section are missing but all the top pieces are there including the original rosewood mirror. These sets were used by very well off Gentleman travelers.Hallmarks are Rawlins & Summer 1838 to 1839 John Robins 1816 to 1817 William Purse 1809 to 1810 Thomas Dexter 1834 to 1835.
