Antique knife box,This American country kitchen knife box is all original.Period "knife boxes" are hard to come by that are all dovetailed like this one is. Both the front and back of this knife box are put together with sweetest hand cut dovetails and the center board is dovetailed into both of them. This knife box is between the late 18th to early 19th centuries. This antique knife box measures 13 and one eighth inches long by 8 and and one half inches deep by 4 and and one half inches high at sides and 5 inches to the top of the handle

Japanese antique burl wood storage or sewing box. This "Antique Japanese Personal Storage Box circa 1900" measures 10 inches high, 7 and one half inches deep, and 12 inches wide. This antique Japanese box has a hinged top that opens to 3 and one half inches deep and has 5 drawers. In excellent condition, it is made of a beautiful burl wood, called tama moku.
